The Goldanalytix Replacement Pen V1 is specifically designed for use with the CaratScreenPen V1 (models produced before February 2026). This original replacement measuring pen ensures continued precision and reliable gold testing once your existing pen reaches the end of its service life.

This product is used exclusively with the CaratScreenPen V1 gold tester.

Why Replace the Measuring Pen?

The CaratScreenPen V1 operates using a small amount of harmless electrolyte fluid contained inside the measuring pen. Due to the limited internal volume, the pen has a typical lifespan of approximately 3–6 months, depending on frequency of use.

Once the electrolyte fluid level drops below a certain threshold, reliable measurement can no longer be guaranteed.

You should replace the pen if you notice:

• Deviations in measurement values
• Calibration errors
• Inconsistent or unstable results
• Replacing the pen ensures continued accuracy and dependable gold testing performance.

Important Usage & Care Instructions

• Keep the measuring pen closed when not in use.
• Avoid storing at high temperatures, as this accelerates evaporation of the electrolyte fluid.
• Do not clean the measuring pen, as this may damage the electrolyte and affect measurement accuracy.
• Slight leakage during transport or prolonged storage is normal and harmless. Simply wipe away excess liquid with a cloth.
